# Affiliate Terms Draft

This draft is operational copy for counsel review before launch.

## Program

Leftover Lab may allow approved affiliates to promote Leftovers using tracked links, codes, or approved campaign assets.

## Eligibility

Affiliates must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate payout information, and comply with applicable advertising, consumer protection, disclosure, tax, privacy, and platform rules.

## Required Disclosures

Affiliates must clearly disclose their relationship with Leftover Lab in every post, video, email, page, ad, or message where a link or code appears.

Examples:

- "I may earn a commission if you subscribe."
- "Affiliate link."
- "#ad" where appropriate for the platform.

## Prohibited Claims

Affiliates may not claim that Leftovers:

- Provides medical advice.
- Provides nutrition therapy.
- Is approved for GLP-1, diabetes, pregnancy, eating disorders, allergies, or any medical condition.
- Determines whether food is safe to eat.
- Prevents food poisoning.
- Guarantees savings, weight loss, health outcomes, or food waste reduction.
- Identifies ingredients or allergens with perfect accuracy.

## Commission

Unless a written campaign agreement says otherwise:

- Monthly subscriptions: 40% of the first paid month.
- Annual subscriptions: 25% of the first annual payment.
- Renewals: 10% for up to 12 months if tracking and account status remain valid.
- Payout threshold: `$25`.
- Payout timing: approximately 30 days after the customer payment clears.

Commissions may be withheld or reversed for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, self-referrals, duplicate accounts, coupon abuse, policy violations, or suspicious traffic.

## Brand Use

Affiliates may use approved Leftovers names, screenshots, descriptions, and campaign assets only to promote Leftovers. Affiliates may not register domains, social handles, ads, app listings, or accounts that imply ownership of the brand.

## Paid Ads

Affiliates may not bid on Leftovers, Leftover Lab, misspellings, or branded search terms without written permission.

## Termination

Leftover Lab may suspend or terminate an affiliate account at any time for policy violations, legal risk, fraud risk, inactive promotion, or brand safety concerns.

## No Legal, Medical, Or Safety Advice

Affiliates must not position Leftovers as legal, medical, dietetic, allergy, or food-safety advice. Users are responsible for judging food condition, storage, allergies, dietary needs, and medical questions.
